Tackling The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

Zelda. The well known and loved video game franchise. As a kid, I played a few Gameboy entries of the franchise – I adored Oracle of Seasons and how you could explore the same world over and over but in different seasons. I was fascinated at the changes each season brought. But ultimately, the games weren’t really my thing. I was terrible at them, to say the least.

After the last Nintendo Direct, I turned on my long untouched 3DS to find a Zelda game on it. The Ocarina of Time 3D. I had bought it some time ago but unsurprisingly I struggled to get very far. I opened the save file, was stuck in a dungeon, and had no idea what the controls for anything were. Great start. At the time, though, I was looking into playing games that were outside my usual range for a challenge and Zelda definitely fits the bill, so I decided to go for it and start anew.
